Practice Physical Assessment Test

Start Date: 2023-04-01

End Date: 2023-04-01

Time: 7:30 AM

Location: 321 John Sartain, Corpus Christi, TX 78401

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! You are invited to attend the Corpus Christi Police Department Practice Physical Assessment Test (PAT) on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 7:30 am for our upcoming CCPD 83rd Police Academy projected to begin July 2023. (The previous event scheduled for Saturday, March 18 has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.)

This is a great way to gauge your strengths and know what you need to work on to move forward in this process.

The practice test will take place at the main police station (321 John Sartain, Corpus Christi, TX 78401). Applicants will meet us at the gated entrance directly across from Whataburger on the Bay (Water St. side of the building). Check-in time will be between 7:15 am - 7:30 am, so we can start promptly at 8:00 am. During the practice test, instructors will explain and demonstrate each phase of the physical fitness test. We will also be available to answer any questions you have about any phase of the testing and hiring process. As a bonus for attending the practice test, applicants who successfully complete the course will receive a PAT waiver that will be valid for up to 30 days. That means you will only need to pass the written examination on your scheduled test date.

Please report to the test site in physical fitness attire and have your state-issued identification card/DL with you. You are welcome to bring your own water or Gatorade to hydrate. We are happy to extend this practice date to you and we hope you will be in attendance. Please respond to this email if you plan to attend the practice test.

We understand that our out-of-town applicants may not be able to attend due to logistics. Please remember this testing is not mandatory. We will begin scheduling entrance exam testing dates for out-of-town applicants in the next few weeks. As always, contact us at the numbers below if you have any questions.
